DAY 1: HANOI

Welcome you to Vietnam! Welcome you to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, which is considered as a blend between the traditional and the modern beauties.
On arrival at Hanoi International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in town (rooms are at your disposal from 14:00). 08.00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will come to the hotel and pick you up, then we will start the Hanoi city tour We will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex. Here you can visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of Uncle Ho kept there. Next you will visit the Presidential Palace – a nice French architecture in the garden and Ho Chi Minh House on stilt. Visiting the house you will see the simple life of Ho Chi Minh – the president in Vietnamese’s spirit forever. We will finish this area with One Pillar Pagoda – one of the most attractions in Hanoi you cannot miss with the special in architecture.
Having lunch and you will continue to the Temple of Literature – The first University of Vietnam. The next destination will be Museum of Ethnology to learn more about Vietnam Culture. Next we will explore Hanoi by traveling through the Old Quarter with 36 ancient streets in a traditional cyclo. DAY 5: HOI AN

Activities: Cycle from Hoi An to Tra Que Herb Village Van lang fisherman village and Bay Mau water coconut forest. Join in an interesting activity making a traditional lantern by yourself.
08h30am: Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby, than you will cycle around Hoi An towards the Tra Que vegetable village – About 150 farmers and 400 owners live on there and cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs such as mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro, broccoli and many more. From the more than 40 hectares of land 8 tons of Village Tra vegetables are sold every year. The vegetable growers do not use pesticides or GMOs, using natural fertilizers instead, including seaweed found in the river and harvested by gardeners every morning.
Walk in Tra Que vegetable village and meet local people working in the garden. During the walk, you will cross vast rice fields in the countryside and quiet road, far away from the tourist trails. You will see the activities of the inhabitants through the villages of Hoian.
The local farmer will teach you all about cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetable from the insects as well as join the farmers in preparing gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting and tending greens.
Continue riding through paddy field, Ba Le market, kindergarten … until reaching Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau coconut water forest – about 7 hectares, surrounded by mangrove forests, canals, houses covered by coconut water leaf . This place had ever been the refuge for people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War. Nowadays, it is famous for providing the most seafood products.
You will be warmly welcomed at Mr. Han – a 3 generations family, taste of green tea and stroll through the village. You will row a basket boat within the hands of skillful locals and discover their techniques of traditional fishery in water coconut forest.
Back Mr. Han’ family for enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice before getting ready to prepare lunch with a local family. Lunch will feature many local delicacies, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, BanhXeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf and others.
After lunch, free time and take a short rest before finishing the biking and continuing with the last-but-not-least activity of the day. The highlight is to visit a lantern shop where artisans make Hoi An’s famous lanterns. You see the whole process then have a chance to create your own lanterns. You will be provided the bamboo that forms the base of your frame and colorful silk so that you can choose your own color pattern, and design. Once completed, you can take one as hand-made sourvenir as these lanterns are easy to fold and carry.

Collect memorable experience making lantern by yourself
You will have big chance to make a lantern by yourself during this tour. Lanterns are made of Vietnamese silk, which is made from silk worms famous in Asia. The silk has beautiful colors and meaningful patterns. You can choose lanterns with wooden frames, some made from very precious wood, with a painting of a legend on each side of the lantern. They are all hand made from bamboo, silk, and wood. Once lighted, lanterns will illuminate with marvelous, mysterious light which will take you hundreds of years back, to times of tales and mystery.

08.00AM: Our guide and driver will go to your hotel to pick you up and we will head out of Hoi An to Ba Na Hills. Take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour.

About 09.00: After breakfast, our guide will wait for you at the lobby and we start the Hue City tour.
We will board on a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume River. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. DAY 9: HO CHI MINH

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH, MEKONG, HO CHI MINH

07.30 AM: Today our guide will take pick you up at the hotel lobby and take you to Mekong Delta and we will explore the unique life of local people here.
The program will start with a visit of Cai Be floating market. Then, visit of the local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut , pop-rice… Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea. Then, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time.
An optional lunch can be served at local house (Ba Kiet / 10 Huong…)
After lunch, we’ll come to Tan Phong island for biking / walking on village paths to see the local daily life: orchard, school, church, pagoda, traditional houses and maybe the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta… On the way, we can make some stops to see how they make rice-net for spring-rolls, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage roof and specially see how they wave the dried water-hyacynth to make many products: baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes…
Come to visit Mekong garden, we will enjoy some cups of tea when listening to the traditional music. The cruise will back & end at Cai Be pier at around 3.30PM. Then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 12: SIEM REAP

Activities: Explore the Angkor Temples
08.00 AM: After breakfast, transfer to visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever.
And continue exploring the mysterious Royal City Angkor Thom City & Bayon. Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Further, visit to the surroundings of the complex including the Baphoun, Elephant Terraces, Leper King Terrace and Royal Enclosure area and visit one more ruin in Angkor Area of Preah Khan temple, built in 12th century by King Jayavarman VII and it is the same style to Ta Prom Temple.

DAY 13: SIEM REAP

Activities: Explore the floating life in Tonle Lake
After breakfast at hotel, we drive for about 1 hour to Kampong Phluk Floating Village. Kampong Phluk is a permanent settlement on the Tonle Sap Lake with a small land based village attached to it. Its remarkable mangrove forest which is unique in the Siem Reap area. You will board a local boat and cruise the waterways observing the authentic and diverse lifestyle of the local floating community. Disembark at a traditional house on stilts where a catered lunch is set up for you. Admire the simple, yet fascinating lifestyle and interact with your host to learn more about living on the water. Transfer back your hotel with remainder of day free at your leisure. Dinner on your own.

DAY 14: SIEM REAP

Activities: Group tour: Visit Kulan Elephant forest
After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the meeting point in downtown Siem Reap where a shuttle will take you on a one hour drive to the Kulen Elephant Forest. Once at the reserve, you will spend time learning about elephants as you follow them through their natural habitat, observing their relationships and behaviors and experience the daily life of our elephants as they enjoy their natural surroundings. Walk with them into the forest, and witness how they choose to spend their time. At noon, retire to base camp and enjoy a traditional meal before heading back to Siem Reap.

Roam the forest with adorable elephants of Kulen Elephant Forest in Siem Reap
Located in the foothills of the Phnom Kulen National Park, Kulen Elephant Forest is a lovely place to visit for all nature and wildlife lovers in Siem Reap. The reserve opened in 2019 is a 400-hectare elephant retirement park, where the captive Asian elephants are protected and live freely from the riding activity. Visitors with no more than 12 people in a group will spend time observing and learning about the elephants, give them snacks, watch them swimming, and walk with them into the forest. There are no rides or tricks, just follow the elephants to where they want to go or patiently wait if they want to stop.
